Well, that was a fun weekend!
It started with a retirement/birthday party for Fay. Fay spent her career as a Neonatal Intensive Care nurse. She and her friends and coworkers showed that not only do they do the work of angels, they know how to dance and party. Pictures are posted.
Up early the next morning to play at Glenora Wine Cellars' Leaves, and Lobster on the Lawn event. This is a fabulous two day event and we certainly got the better day this year. Pictures are posted.

Since the last udate we have played a couple of wonderful weddings.
August 16th we were at the beautiful Corning Country Club for Christine's and Scott's wedding. Beth jumped in and joined us while Elaina was celebrating her Grandmother's 98th birthday. Paul Close filled in for Durf on sound and tore it up on guitar on "Sweet Home Chicago." With our photographer missing, were only able to capture one picture from the evening. It was a great night with dancing from the start.
August 23rd was Abby's and Nick's wedding at the fantastic Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel. Everyone was ready for a party and they danced the night away. Pictures are posted.
Congratulations to Christine and Scott and to Abby and Nick. We wish you a lifetime of health and happiness together.

Since the last udate we have played the Benefit for Molly Bennett (Pictures are posted), The BZ Tournament (Pictures are posted) and the Avon Corn Festival (see the video and we should have pictures later). We also got rained out at the Switz.
The benefit for the Bennetts was a tremendous event. We are honored to be included in community events such as this. The BZ Tournament is another great community event hosted by the Stantons with a huge crew of community volunteers. We were happy to be back this year. We were supposed to be at the Switz next, but some amazing rain put a damper on that. Oh well, next year! We capped the string of gigs by returing to where it all started and celebrated our 10th anniversary at the Avon Rotary Corn Festival. We were joined by Tim Brinduse at the Benefit for Molly and by Conrad Phillips and Seamus Donegan at the Corn Festival.

Over the last couple weekends, we've played at the St. Agnes Golf Tournament, The Geneseo Summer Concert Series, and Joe's graduation party. Pictures from the events are posted:
The Golf Tournament is always a great time and a wonderful community event in the memory of Michael Hayes. We always look forward to a great day with everyone. Thanks to the organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and participants. Seamus Donegan sat in and did a few tunes, to the delight of the audience.
We kicked of the Geneseo Summer Concert Series for another year. We are so happy that they keep having us back. It was a beautiful evening with an audience of all ages. Tim Brinduse sat in and play some great harmonica. We hope to be back next year.
Joe graduated and Janet and Chris threw a party. And what a party it was. Typically people don't dance outside in the daylight, but this group was not going by that rule. Thanks so much for letting us be part of it. We even learned a couple of new tunes. Congratulations Joe!
We have a busy few weeks coming up. We hope to see you out and about!
And here comes Summer!! We'll kick it off with our yearly Memorial Day Party at Barrett's Farm. Bring an item for the Avon Food Pantry, your cooler and lawn chairs and get ready for a great day. We are also celebrating Elaina's return to the States and to performing with BBB!
Thanks to the folks at the Rochester Irish Children's Program fundraiser for letting us be part of this great event once again. We had a blast at the German house and were joined by Ken Snyder on guitar and vocals.
Join us April 26th at DiMartino's Sports Bar in Warsaw. Then we'll take a little break and start the Summer season on Memorial Day weekend at our annual Food Pantry benefit at Barrett's Farm.
What a night! The Rock Bottom Bar-B-Que in Corning rocked! It was a fun night with family, old friends, new friends, and a bunch of musicians.
Blues brother Conrad Phillips and Larry Childs blew some mean harp. Paul Close, Willie Hayes, and Tony Serdula wailed on guitar and Becky Jo Hendley wowed 'em as she fronted the band. Thanks to Steve Childs for keeping Live music alive (and for some great ribs) and to April Thompson for keeping everything together.
Pictures are posted.
St. Paddy's at the Avon Inn was fantastic! The highlight for the band and many in the audience was a surprise visit from Elaina. She shocked us by coming home for break unannounced. The Inn was packed and we were treated to Irish dancing and an Irish sing-a-long before taking the stage. Pictures are posted.
Next up is a trip to Corning to play at the Rock Bottom Bar-B-Que! We'll be playing 9 - 1.
